Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi is expected to start serving sushi, rice and noodle bowls, poke bowls and wok dishes this fall in Lake Nona.
The 3,000-square-foot location at 12851 Narcoossee Road will be a takeout-friendly, fast-casual restaurant that offers patio seating, according to a news release. Bento’s menu has influences from Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and Thailand and also includes boba tea, Asian beers, and sake.
“Although Lake Nona is quickly growing, there are still very few Asian dining options in the area,” co-founder Johnny Tung said in a news release. “We’ve received so many requests from our customers to open here so we’re excited to finally be able to call Lake Nona our new home and to contribute to the emerging food scene.”
The Orlando-based chain was founded in 2002 by brothers Jimmy and Johnny Tung. Its first restaurant opened in Gainesville and it now has 16 restaurants, including six in Central Florida.
